Look Who Is Reading . . .

I enjoyed reading A Year by the Sea a month ago. Joan Anderson is the author and I'd never read anything by her before so it was great to discover a new source. The book was recommended to me by a friend who learned my husband had moved to our beach house for a time due to his job. This story is about a woman at the proverbial crossroads who leaves her husband for a year to regroup at her beach cottage. In the end, she is renewed and the marriage revived. Don't we all wish we could spend a year by the sea?

Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris. The book was extremely entertaining due to his satirical sense of humor. He is very honest about his personal struggles and the dysfunction within his family. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sarcasm and satire.
