FHS Events:
We will follow directions from BCPS with respect to holding, postponing, or cancelling events throughout the spring, and we will keep you informed of those decisions. 

Student Meals:

Starting Monday, March 23, BCPS will offer free grab-and-go meals to students aged 18 and younger at 46 locations. The two new sites are Sparrows Point High School and Westland Gardens Apartments.

Students must be present to receive the meals, which include breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one bag. The meals are available from March 23 - 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Please continue to check the BCPS Coronavirus Updates webpage for the latest information. You’ll find Student Learning Resources at the top of the page. These practice materials are available for students from preschool through high school.

Translated messages will be available under the heading By Date, which is either at the right of the webpage, or just scroll down.

State program

Maryland has announced free meals for students – three meals per weekday – available from all its summer meal sites. The state’s website includes a map feature at to help families find the meal site closest to them.


County program

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks is offering limited meal distribution to children 18 and under through the Maryland Food Bank and Healthy Food Access St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore. Take-away meals will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays. Meal supplies are limited, and meals will be distributed on a first come first serve basis at the following locations:
