		SOPHOMORE JEFF R. NAMED TEENAGER OF THE YEAR Congratulations to Jeff who was named Teenager of the Year by the Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown. He was selected based on academic achievement, volunteer service, citizenship and leadership performance.
		FHS PHYSICS OLYMPICS TEAM WINS GOLD! Franklin High’s Physics Olympics team members, Scott B., Jillian C., Nevil G., Kyle P., and Benjamin S., earned gold at the Baltimore County Physics Olympics at Dulaney High School March 8. The team, comprised of students from Mr. Gerald Doetzer’s AP physics class, competed against students from 21 other teams around the county. Students were required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of several physics-related concepts as well as important figures in physics over the past 2500 years.
		FRANKLIN STUDENTS ON MPT Three Franklin High School students had an opportunity to have their college questions answered on Maryland Public Television’s “Direct Connection” program that aired Monday, January 28. Read more about our Franklin television stars' experience.
		FRANKLIN JUNIOR ACCEPTED INTO ALL-STATE BAND Greg S., a junior at Franklin High School, has been given an amazing honor. He has been accepted to be in the All-State band.
