Registration Procedures
New/Transfer Students:
Please read each section carefully
1.Contact the last school attended to obtain a withdrawal packet, to include IEP/504 plan if applicable
3. Please provide the required supporting documents:
A) Original Birth Certificate
B) Parent ID/Passport-name on submitted documents must match ID/Passport. If your name has changed, please submit a marriage license or divorce decree.
C) Immunization Record
D) Lease/Deed
One of the following must be submitted:

Full copy of current lease with signed signature pages

Signed Deed

Signed Settlement Sheet

Signed Title
-
Mortgage Coupon Book (cover and coupon)

Property Tax Bill
-
Receipt for Residential Dwelling Unit

Mortgage Statement dated within 60 days

A signed lease from a real estate company or commercial lessor (include latest renewal letter if applicable)

A signed lease from a private party owner
Plus one of the following to prove ownership:
E) 3 pieces of mail- accepted mail but be dated in the last 60 days, from 3 different sources in one parent's name
- Income Tax Returns

Utility Bill

W-2 form for the current year

Cable Bill

Employer Statement
-
Voter’s Registration Card
-
Mail from Government Agency
-
Vehicle Registration
-
Credit Card Account Statement

Bank Account Statement

Correspondence addressed to the parent from an office of a federal/state or local county government agency

Change of address notification from the USPS

Mailing from a BCPS school or office
- A statement written on company letterhead from the parent's employer
Other Enrollments
All registrations for non-resident students, McKinney Vento students, students in an agency place foster care, students in kinship care or family hardship care must be approved by the (PPW) Pupil Personnel Worker prior to enrollment.

Attention, Incoming 9th grade students from Franklin Middle School:
You DO NOT need to make a registration appointment if you are zoned for Franklin High School. You must complete the Residency Verification process to avoid your student’s schedule being withheld.

Student Withdraw/Transfer
You must first clear all your obligations (textbooks, fees, Chromebook) with Ms. Cleveland, FHS AP secretary, prior to the withdrawal. Ms. Cleveland can be reached at 443-809-1119.
Next, fill out a Withdrawal Form and Mrs. Lyles the records secretary will then prepare a Transfer Packet which will include the following information: Official transcript, grades, class schedule, test scores, attendance data, discipline data, birth certificate, & immunization records.
Please allow a minimum of 72 business hours for processing.
