College Board provides exam fee assistance for students who have not met CCR status if their parent/guardian submits the Universal Fee Waiver Form in their PARENT FOCUS portal by November 5. The reduced AP exam fee is $53 (plus taxes and processing fees). Please note: Every parent should submit the UFW in Focus even if they don't think their student qualifies. The UFW will also cover the cost of most, if not, all college application fees.

BCPS will pay for AP exam fees for students in grades 11 and 12 who are CCR met, enrolled in the AP course, and taking the course for the first time. Students in grades 9-12 who are not CCR met are responsible for exam fees at the base price listed above or the reduced fee price if their guardian completes the Universal Fee Waiver. *** Students can check their CCR status in their Student FOCUS portal.

Students who are College and Career Readiness (CCR) met and who demonstrate disruptive or elopement behaviors in an exam room or during an AP exam will be responsible for the cost of exam fees incurred. AP exams follow specific guidelines for testing and students who leave testing rooms without permission or are disruptive during a testing session are subject to an incident report (school administration and College Board), will be dismissed and not readmitted, and will be responsible for the exam fees incurred.
